In the year 2003 we combined forces to bring waterfowlers across the country a truly unique experience, known as St. Louis Sportsman Center.  In the year 2006, we evolved again into what is now known as Voo Doo outfitters.   Currently we offer Waterfowl hunts in Oklahoma and Illinois.  Duck and Goose hunting is our passion!  However, we do offer hunts throughout the Midwest and Mexico for Deer, Elk, and Turkey with approved Guide services.  We strive to provide our guests with the absolute BEST quality hunts available.  We GUARANTEE our service in all the aspects of outfitting, from Deer, Turkey, Elk and Waterfowling. 

Voo Doo Outfitters is currently owned and operated by small group of outdoorsmen known as the “Voo Doo Team”.  The team consists of George “VooDoo” Briscoe, II;  G. Scott “Recon” Briscoe;  Ben Warner;  Dennis Sprenger;  John Robinson;  and Rex Miller.  These seven sportsmen have over 120 years combined outdoor experience.  From Wisconsin to Mexico these hunters have done it all.  Ducks, Geese, Deer, Elk and Turkeys have no chance when Voo Doo is on the job. 

From large Goose Decoy spreads to convincing Duck decoys spreads used in large or small bodies of water or in freshly cultivated peanut, corn, milo or bean fields, Voo Doo will provide comfortable blinds and quality hides so each hunter can harvest their daily limit.  If you have sat in the tree stand, stalked the woods for turkey or scouted for elk feeding in the meadow, you will appreciate the work that Voo Doo outfitters does for you. 

As kids each one of the Voo Doo team spent countless hours in field scouting deer, turkeys, ducks and geese.  The hunting traditions of our ancestors compel us to succeed where others may fail.  Each member of our team strives to hold fast the lessons taught to us by our mentors and we endeavor to teach our children the same lessons. 

George “VooDoo” Briscoe, II has spent several decades participating in the Outdoor Industry.  From guiding Pheasant hunts in northern Iowa, guiding duck and goose hunts in Oklahoma, Illinois and Alabama, Teaching Trap and Sporting Clays to shooters, and managing gun clubs, George has spent his life understanding the art of Wingshooting.  George has been a featured outfitter in the Hunter’s Specialties video series “Take Em”, with Barnie Calef, the video series “Delta Thunder” with Rickey Doyle and the VS tv series “The Hunting University”  with David “Dirt” King.  George grew up hunting the flood waters, rivers and lakes in Northeast Oklahoma for Ducks and Geese.  He has traveled to north of the border in Canada down the panhandle of Texas chasing Ducks and Geese.  He has seen every imaginable situation that any waterfowler will find himself in.  From weary Geese to late season Mallards, George has worked them all.  George describes himself as a Pintail and Specklebelly junkie, “when a flock of either Pintails or Specs decoys, you know what waterfowling is all about!”  George is a member of Ducks Unlimited, National Sporting Clays Association, NWTF, and the Masonic Lodge.  George was given the nickname Voo Doo by his friends and clients because they say he harvests birds when no one else can. 
 

Scott “Recon” Briscoe has spent decades accompanying his brother and their guests in the fields.  Scott has taken scouting waterfowl to a whole new level.  Scott’s knowledge of map, and the movements of Ducks and Geese, has allowed him to provide the most prime locations for guests of Voo Doo Outfitters.  Scott is an accomplished outdoorsman as well as an accomplished sportsman.  Scott has spent his professional career in the software business and it is this success that allows Scott to participate in the Outfitting business.  Scott has been instrumental in the development of Voo Doo outfitters from a financial aspect, his investment and organizational skills have led to the overnight growth of this company. 

Ben Warner and Dennis Sprenger have both participated in the venture, St. Louis Sportsmen Center.  Ben has had a long career in Sporting Clays and enjoys continued success in that sport.  Dennis owns and operates “Elite Shooting Sports” when he is not in the field.  Both of these men reside in the great outdoor state of Wisconsin.  Both men are members of the National Sporting Clays Association, Ducks Unlimited and the NWTF. 

John Robinson and Rex Miller both reside in Miami, Oklahoma and are the newest members of Voo Doo Outfitters.  These two young men have made it their goal to chase Duck, Geese, Deer and Turkeys as much as humanly possible.  Growing up in the rich community of outdoorsmen, these boys have developed excellent skills at an early age.  Both men encompass the moral fiber and commitment to excellence that Voo Doo Outfitters stands for .
